Greetings from the Land of Covid-19
I’m sick and it sucks but at least I’m alive
It started Wednesday while I was working on a new acting demo reel. Just a bit of throat irritation that I thought was silent acid reflux. By Thursday morning I was very sick. Don’t know where I got it. I don’t leave home much.
So far, it’s been a like light cold but with a lot of high fevers. I think the worst of it was last night. I sure hope so. I’m feeling well enough to write this today.
I had four appointments to tour houses for rent, good options I can afford that may be gone by the time I get well. I had a demo reel to make for a movie role I think I’d be a good fit for. And of course, lots of writing to do.
I live in a house with other people, so I haven’t left the bedroom. Which is fine because I haven’t felt like getting out of bed. Aubrey has brought me food and liquids. She’s an angel.
I’ve watched Law & Order and Lord of the Rings and Bullet Train. I’ve slept a lot.
Okay. It’s getting hard to look at the screen and think straight now. I’m grateful this hasn’t been worse and that I have good health. I hope this was coherent.
I hope all of you are doing well.
Ah geez, keep picturing yourself Well. That version is in transit.
I'd like to hear more about the movie when the time comes, but this is exactly the kind
of willingness to connect talents to possibilities that has served you well, and will serve you better in the optimistic times ahead.
Get better and go get the acting job.
