Chaturday Morning Post

on Oops it's Saturday, a poll, and Roll Tide

I woke up this morning. Hydrated. Went out to get some morning light… And realized it’s Saturday and that I hadn’t written my Chaturday Morning Post for the week. Normally, I compose bits and pieces of the CMP throughout the week as ideas come to me, then finalize things on Friday.

But this week I was too focused on fiction for that to happen. Which is a good thing. Slowly, the ability to enter the deep focus mode I need for writing fiction is returning to me. And it sure does feel good.

I asked Aubrey if I should call it the Chaturday Post instead, since not everyone will have the opportunity to get it in the morning, depending on their timezone. She said if I took the morning part out then I would likely end up posting it at 11:59 PM. 😂

The Alabama vs Texas game is tonight. So Roll Tide! (Sorry, I was born into a Bama family, and I attended college there.) In the meantime, I’ve earned an afternoon of rolling dice and moving toy soldiers around a tabletop.

I have somewhere to be, and there was something more I wanted to say that I’ve now forgotten, so I’m going to keep this one short with an easy poll question, just so I can get to know you all better.
